Mr. Frantisek Kolin / CZECH

Mr. Kolin is chief editor of Czech aquarium magazine, "AKVARIUM ZIVE". He is the president of Czechoslovakian Nature Aquarium Club, and the founding member of Europe Discus Federation. He also organizes "Skalare Championship" in Prague.

Mr. Pawel Szewczak / POLAND

Mr. Szewczak is owner of aquarium store in Warsaw. He is lecturer on many hobbyist event and co-author of Freshwater Shrimps book "Krewetki Slodkowodne" with Ms. Jackeline Sawicka.

Mr. Daniel Knop /GERMANY

Mr. Knop is the co-founder of KNOP GmbH producing aquarium accessories, and chief editor of "KORALLE" magazine. He has authored 16 books and he is the leader of marine aquarium in Germany, and deeply involved in underwater photography.

Mr. Eu It Hai / SINGAPORE

Mr. Eu is C.E.O. of Oriental Aquarium (S) Pte. Ltd. Based in Singapore, Oriental Aquarium has several farms in China and Malaysia. It is the world largest aquatic plants supplier/farm, and their numbers of offering plant species and production volume is incomparable. Oriental Aquarium is strongly motivated in hybrid plants, and Echinodorus oriental is an example of their production.

David E. Boruchowitz /U.S.A.

Mr. Boruchowitz is editor-in-chief of Tropical Fish Hobbyists magazine. He has worked for T.F.H Publications for more than a decade, and edited many aquarium books. He has been an aquarist for more than half a century, and he is now absorbed in keeping Central American and Tanganyikan cichlids.

Mr. Johnson Wai / HONG KONG

Mr. Wai is C.E.O. of Johnson Wai Aquarium Supply Co., Ltd. and his company represents many famous aquarium brands in Hong Kong. He first introduced the Nature Aquarium Goods in Hong Kong and mainland China in 1997, and created a great sensation. As we have seen, many Hong Kong aquarists performed brilliantly in this year's contest.

Mr. Friedrich Bitter /GERMANY

From 1997 chief editor of Aquaristik aktuell, meanwhile Mr. Bitter is also chief editor of "Caridina" a regular magazine dedicated to freshwater invertebrates. Lately his passion for water plants made him to write the first book about mosses in the aquarium hobby.

Mr. Takashi Amano / JAPAN

Takashi Amano is the C.E.O. of Aqua Design Amano Co., Ltd. He introduced his layout style and his layout skill as "Nature Aquarium", and his first book, "Nature Aquarium World" was translated into 7 languages, and created a great sensation among the planted aquarium hobbyists around the world. In recent years, he is making a lecture circuit based on his experiences in nature in many countries, and appealing the importance of tree planting for the Earth environment protection.
